I look around and see that the world is not right. It is falling apart. What we are doing is, just not enough. A little tzedaka here, a little prayer there and some chesed too. Perhaps, some of us do go beyond our comfort zone to help another person out. Is it enough to tip the scales?
It's all only a bandaid, when the bandaid is removed, we are still gushing. We need to make the bleeding stop. We need to turn to our left, and turn to our right, and open up our eyes to see, what is all too often, easy to ignore. We need to open our hearts, and reach out, to not only our friends, but to the strangers that live among us, they are also our brothers and sisters. They are everywhere.
The solution. We need to add so much good to the world, and by saturating it with this good, G-d has no choice but to see that we, as one, are all deserving of only good that is sweet. Suffering and sadness will be removed, and those who want to destroy us, will live with us in peace. We will all be able to enjoy a life of only bracha and simcha.
How do we do it? We need more mitzvos in the world, Mitzvos are the key. It is not enough that you and I are doing them. We must reach beyond our own families and teach those who do not know what a mitzvah is, exactly what a mitzvah is. It is our responsibility. And only after that happens, will we tip that scale in the right direction.
